To begin, there were quite a few that I liked and found useful interest in. So, let's begin, shall we?
1: Jasper Preedy: Art & Music, How to Find a Sound. I liked the simplicity of this one. All he talked about was how to distinguish one sound from another in the context of genre, so to speak. How he mentioned toy trains and singing attaching themselves to a young child really touched me, giving me thoughts of how I could notate some of my characters' childhood themes. Also, how he talked about music and sound changes wildly over centuries found my interest for yet another part of my story, because the culture does at some point develop.

I have made a large leap forward this year in terms of knowledge about notation, and to an extent, orchestration as well. The skills my tutors and cohort instructors possess are incredible, being able to attune nearly perfectly to a student's needs. ECU really has some of the best musicians and teachers in Australia.
